The Odyssey is an epic journey through dance, alone and with others. Together we move through several Landscapes or sections that are supported by music.
Begin your journey in your body by tuning into your breath and heartbeat, discovering what you bring to the dance today. This is the Landscape of Solo. Once your solo is established, we then begin to connect with others around us. By interacting with the solo of another we create the Landscape of Duet. Next we open our movement to include every dance in the room in the Landscape of Community.
The final exploration is the Landscape of Infinite where we dance what is left, moving with something larger than the self and the other: the whole.
Each session begins with an opening circle, where we offer an invitation, bringing awareness to the dance as well as inspiring a place to begin
Note: Conduit Studios is not wheel chair accessible (exterior stairs, elevator inside).
